How often should I replace the filter in my fresh air system?

As a relatively new product, fresh air systems are often misunderstood. Many people assume that once installed and running, the system requires no further maintenance—frequently neglecting the need to replace filters.

Why do filters need to be replaced?

The filter is a critical consumable for fresh air systems, effectively blocking dust, particles, and pollutants in the air.

If not replaced promptly, filters can become clogged with pollutants, reducing airflow, increasing noise, and significantly lowering purification efficiency. Prolonged use may also damage the motor. Clogged pollutants can breed bacteria and viruses, creating a secondary source of contamination.

How often should the filter be replaced?

In general, replace pre-filters and medium-efficiency filters every 3-6 months, and HEPA filters every 6-12 months. In areas with severe air pollution, reduce the replacement interval accordingly.

Electronic Purification Fresh Air System

Choose an electronic purification fresh air system. It uses high-voltage electrostatic adsorption to remove particulate pollutants from the air. Pollutants are collected in an electronic dust collection box—no filters required. Simply clean the collection box regularly; no consumables need replacement.

If your home has a physical filtration fresh air system, replace filters regularly. For electronic purification systems, clean them periodically. This ensures your fresh air system works effectively and creates a healthy indoor environment for your family!
