How to install a fresh air exchange unit?

The following section will provide an overview;

Method:

1. For best results, position one intake and one exhaust vent on opposite corners of the room.
2. Install the air outlet as per the design drawings. Position the inlet below the window sill in an accessible location, avoiding dead zones to ensure proper circulation between fresh and stale indoor air for continuous ventilation.
3. The exhaust vent is installed on the ceiling of bathrooms and kitchens. Indoor air enters the main unit through the vent and is then expelled to the outdoors by the unit.
4. Keep the exhaust and intake vents at least 1.5m-2m apart to prevent air mixing.

After completing these steps and installing the fresh air system's control switch, the main installation work is essentially complete.
After the fresh air system installation is complete, commissioning must be performed. This includes pre-operation safety checks, trial runs of the fans in both the main indoor unit and outdoor unit, and verification that the system operates smoothly without abnormal vibration or noise. The final results are subject to owner acceptance.

Summary:

As the above fresh air system installation steps show, while the process isn't complicated, it's essential to follow proper installation standards.

Proper installation maximizes a fresh air system's ability to ventilate and improve indoor air quality. Improper installation significantly reduces its effectiveness.
